Dr. Slade
Brandon Slade, DPM, is a skilled podiatrist and surgeon dedicated to provide exceptional care for families and individuals in Santa Maria and the central coast since 2011.
After his undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University, Dr. Slade completed his graduate medical studies in 2008 from the California School of Podiatric Medicine at Samuel Merritt University in Oakland, California. He completed surgical residency training at VA Puget Healthcare System in Tacoma, Washington treating both veteran and active duty soldiers. Dr. Slade went on to San Francisco to further extend his training for reconstructive rearfoot surgery at VA San Francisco and Kaiser Permanente Group. Brandon moved to the central coast to join a group practice in San Luis Obispo and has since opened his own practice in 2018 in Santa Maria.
Dr. Slade cherishes his wife and three children. Together they love exploring the outdoors, backpacking, and hitting the beach. Dr. Slade may also be seen on occasion playing pickle ball or exploring running trails of the Central Coast.
Dr. Fillerup
Casey B Fillerup, DPM is a board-certified podiatrist under the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. He has been in private practice on the Central Coast since 2020. He is a specialist of the lower extremity with an emphasis on surgical repair of ankle and foot deformity, with an additional interest in management of complex wounds. He was trained and educated in Southern California at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, where he completed his Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine in 2017. He then went on to complete a 3-year surgery residency in Los Angeles at Adventist Health White Memorial. There he performed and assisted on over 1500 foot and ankle surgical cases. His training ranges from treatment of diabetic foot ulcers to fixation of ankle fractures. He is committed to finding the best solution for each patient on an individual basis. He is constantly striving to help patients return to a life without pain.
Casey Fillerup was raised on the Central Coast. He is a graduate of Righetti High School in Santa Maria where he played varsity basketball and was an honor roll student. He enjoys an active lifestyle consisting of surfing, paddle boarding, hiking, and exploring the outdoors with his wife Madelyn and their son Larsen.
